A few days back, Kim Kardashian was spotted in Paris serving all types of casual chic honey! This was the look you chose to wear to lunch and gawd is it a good one! She chose to keep everything in the ensemble pretty simple, pairing a V-neck tee shirt with a tuxedo blazer and grey skinny jeans. The statement piece of Kim's look is obviously her gag worthy black and white embellished strappy sandals, sure to give every woman a "shoegasm" (ps- some shoes are worth bringing that word back lol). I don't have any deets on the price of them yet but, from the looks alone, I have a feeling, they're way out of my budget. Good news is, I'm willing to search high and low for affordable fashion options and those sandals were indeed worth the search! Even more good news, I've found some goodies to help us get this Kim Kardashian Look For Less!.. $131.13 to be exact!!!
It's something about a flat mule sandal that I love... I can't really put my finger on it but I enjoy they're made to fit your foot perfectly and a super comfy. Comfort is KEY!!! Sure you can purchase a neutral colored pair but why? Why not bring a lil flair to these flats in the form of metallic! The Women's Freely Metallic Foil Mules are adorable but not for me at $325... I found a more economically feasible option from River Island for 50 Bucks! Both are cool and will add a lil' something extra to a look, The question is, Are You Ballin' Or Budgetin'?
I hope you all had an amazing weekend! I was completely prepared to start this week off with a Coachella Look For Less. But, little did I know, Nicki Minaj would show up to the MTV Movie Awards looking absolutely stunning in this curve hugging black dress. I'm totally here for the more natural looks she's been embracing as of late, allowing her true beauty to radiate! She bumped up this all black number with a ton of gold accessories, featuring numerous cuff bracelets, a gag worthy cutout bib necklace, gold hoops with a circle drop center and stack-able rings! Everything worked while she WERKED! This ensemble is a good example of how us ladies can be sexy without showing skin. I gathered some goodies to help us gals on a budget pull off this Nicki Minaj look for less.
Cuff Bracelets $11.00 each (My Look For Less Featured 3)
Cutout Bib Necklace $11.00
Stack-able Rings $15.00
So, a few months ago I did a Jennifer Lopez Look For Less that featured an amazing pair of Emilio Pucci Aztec Print embroidered shorts. I remember those shorts being so exclusive that no one could find them for sale... Exactly, that EXCLUSIVE! Well loves, I've actually found a dupe that was inspired by JLo in those shorts! The difference is there's no embroidery but the design, print and fit are spot on! And for only $6.68 from KARMACLOTHING.CO.UK, who needs embroidery? Get your pair before they're sold out. Trust me, they will be with a price that's less than $7.00! Hope this post was helpful in getting us Summer Time Fine!!!
Reese Witherspoon was spotted all smiles while taking a stroll in this super relaxed "girly'" look. Something we all can pull off, with a black camisole and a leopard print skirt. I love how she chose to turn this somewhat simple look into something special with a denim jacket (a spring wardrobe staple), fuschia sandals and a turquoise stone necklace. All of which added their own special touch to this ensemble... Take a gander at the goodies, I've found to help us get this Reese Witherspoon Look For Less
Last night, I attended the opening of a very brilliant and talented artist at the Atlantic Gallery in Chelsea. Japanese artist, Asako Iwasawa's 'What Do Plants Dream Of', featured very whimsical and free flowing paintings. Her contrast of dark and vibrant colors allowed the highlighted subject(s) to jump right off the canvas. Her eye for detail is spot on!!! It literally looked as if you could smell or touch the flowers, dodge the insects (because I don't enjoy them lol) and made me want to meditate, have a picnic and just be one with nature. It's unfortunate that my allergies limit my ability to do any of these thing but hey, I guess I can dream right along with the plants. Take a gander at a few of my faves!!! and If you want to check the pieces out for yourself,' What do plants dream of' will be on display until May 3rd. Please check this artist out.... She's super talented and REALLY nice www.asakoiwasawa.com
I'm loving lace as of late and was immediately drawn to these Moschino Lace Shorts! The shorts feature belt loops, pockets and a pleated front. I love the texture the lace brings to rather structured piece and will serve as the perfect detail to add a lil' umph to an all black look. Their $575 price tag seems to be the only problem I have with them. Lucky for me, Diane von Furstenburg has a comparable pair for $79! Same structure and all... The lace is a different floral pattern but who cares with a difference of almost $500???... Which pair would you choose? Are you Ballin' Or Budgetin'?
Kim Kardashian was spotted at the Marrianne Williamson Press Event last night, looking all types of chic! I've voiced or typed my opinion about how I like seeing Kim in more sophisticated ensembles... She dawned the event in this all black number that featured harem trousers, a long line blazer and a loosely fit top. I love how she kept her top tucked to give us a hint of waistline, and accessorized with thin gold strap sandals, a really thin necklace and gold box clutch. Nothing was overstated and everything worked really well together. Proving once again that less can indeed be more! I LOVE IT and have gather some goodies to help us re-create Kim K's Look, For Less.
Happy Tuesday Loves! I know it's kinda odd that there's a new post today but, I've decided to make a conscious effort to blog everyday. Today's Designer Dupe are these two tone Givenchy macrame slip-ons. The black and white color combo isn't going anywhere and these babies in my opinion would make for some awesome Spring transitional sneaks. I love how the leather is topped with a floral macrame pattern to soften them up a bit. They can help bring a lil' something extra to an all black or white look or tone down a rather vibrant ensemble. The vast amount of outfit options is what I adore most about this floral footwear choice. The only thing I'm not loving about these slip-ons is their $650 price tag... Luckily, I've found a pretty good dupe from YesStyle.com for only $80! That's almost a $600 difference dolls!!!
